Abstract
This term paper discusses life of Michael Jackson as a king of pop and his useful contributions to the world of music. Michael Jackson was known as the king of pop as he became one of the greatest singers in early 80s with his super hit album thriller. Throughout his life he remained an icon for every youngster to follow his footsteps to become a massive success. He travelled around the world doing concerts everywhere including countries which are indeed not very popular. His physical condition deteriorated badly in his last days and he was known to be taking dangerous drugs that probably became the cause of his mysterious death in 2009 in Los Angeles. The author of the term paper discusses how Michael Jackson changed the face of pop music for good and whether the world will ever see music legend like him.

Michael Jackson was born in Indiana 29th August, 1958. He was the 7th child of his nine siblings (Biography of Jackson, 2009). He was known as the king of pop music. He began his singing career as early as 5 years of age. He was extremely talented and in 1982 he brought what people call revolution in music with his super hit album “Thriller” that had 50 million copies sold all over the world. The album produced 7 singles hit.
