From the Paper
For some meditation is a way of life where strict rituals and discipline is practiced far away from the materialistic and worldly desires. It is a way of controlling ones unlimited desires and live a spiritually awakened life. Scientifically a human mind loves to wander around different fantasies and thoughts related to evil and selfish desires (Weiss, 2010). Meditation is way of making one’s mind still and be able to concentrate on one particular object. Regular meditation practice can lead to connect oneself with the higher self. Meditation can be practiced anywhere and everywhere by focusing on the particular task at hand. Meditation is listening to one’s own breathing, listening to one’s heart beat, observing the surroundings. Basically, focusing oneself in the presence, forgetting the miseries and vulnerabilities of the past.
