This term paper discusses the rights of animals and whether animals should be used by scientists for testing and medical purposes. There are some groups that argue that using animals for the benefits of humans is indeed not an acceptable practice as animals too are living creatures as they feel the pain, sadness and happiness and they possess the right to live freely. Animals are created by nature to balance the eco system and not to be used for painful scientific experiments. The author of the term paper discusses if deadly experiments are stopped on animals how humans can survive harmful viruses and bacteria.

Animal Rights is a movement that protects animals from being abused and used for performing scientific tests by human beings, (Bocco, 2010). Anything that causes pain and suffering to animals is considered as violation of animal rights. These practices include captivating animals in zoos, using their skin and fats to make products and using them for scientific experiments to prevent deadly diseases in human beings. Animals right movement perceives animals as individual beings with own their own rights.
